CONWAY – G.O.A.T. (GRIMIEST OF ALL TIME) [ALBUM STREAM]

Just before Christmas, Conway drops off the G.O.A.T project. As expected, it’s full of rawness and just as hard as you would expect. With production from Daringer and Alchemist and guests including Royce 5’9″, Benny, Styles P, Raekwon, Lloyd Banks and the late Prodigy, hit play and prepare yourself for the filthiest project of the holiday season.

COMBAT JACK PASSES AWAY

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that Reggie “Combat Jack” Osse has passed away at 48 due to complications from colon cancer.

Newer heads may know Combat Jack from his podcast “The Combat Jack Show” that has pioneered hip hop podcasting and featured a who’s who of guests as well as a history lesson for those who got caught up in some of the amazing stories on the show. The old heads may remember Combat Jack from his days of being an attorney for some of hip hop’s finest, which includes Jay Z, Damon Dash, DJ Clark Kent, Nice & Smooth, Capone-N-Noreaga, Deric “D. Dot” Angelettie, Ski Beatz and others. He also spent time as the managing editor of The Source.

Combat Jack announced to the world that he had colon cancer in October and it rapidly accelerated until he succumbed to the disease today (December 20th). As a hip hop visionary, he will sorely be missed. But for those of us who have met him over the years, everyone will remember Combat Jack as one of the most giving people in the industry.

He will sorely be missed.

RAPSODY – SASSY [VIDEO]

No need to be serious all of the time, right? Rapsody has a little fun with the video for her Grammy nominated “Sassy.” The Laila’s Wisdom emcee has a house party and helps a friend get acquainted with the opposite sex.
