DJ PREMIER X BMB SPACEKID FEAT. ANDERSON PAAK – TIL IT’S DONE

So the story goes that DJ Premier spent a few days in the studio alongside St. Petersburg’s BMB Spacekid and one half of LA-based funksters NxWorries, Anderson Paak. The result of their combined wizardry is “Til It’s Done” – a headnodding joyride through electro-funk characterised by a hip-hop drum kit underbelly and topped by Anderson’s ever-capable vocal acrobatics.

GOLDSMITH FEAT. ACTION BRONSON – ONESY & SLIPPERS

Pittsburgh’s Goldsmith once recorded a song with Action Bronson and decides to release it today along with a curious message attached…

“We recorded the record at my parents house a few years ago. Action shook hands with both of my parents & thanked them for having him in their home. I haven’t heard from him since.”

Not even sure what to say about that. Just enjoy the music.

SKYZOO – LUXURY

Skyzoo drops another gem from his upcoming Music For My Friends project.

“The idea behind the record was to put together something that really felt like the city. Something that really felt like the NY that I know and grew up in. From the content to the beat, it feels like expensive cars driven by guys from down the block who figured out a way to get whatever they want and celebrate those realizations. That’s how the city looked and felt to me growing up, and I wanted to build something like that for this generation that still tied into the album’s overall theme of innocent ignorance and misguided desires.”
