JON CONNOR FEAT. SISTER TOUR – BLACK [VIDEO]

Detroit’s Jon Connor drops a new joint to celebrate blackness in the face of adversity with the video for “Black” that features Sister Tour.

“It saddens me that a song I wrote about such a grim topic a year ago would be even more relevant and necessary today than it was then,” he said about the song. “For me, the race issues in our country aren’t a fad or a hot topic for the moment. It’s my life and the everyday experience of all Black people in this county.”

JON CONNOR – HOMICIDE FREESTYLE

Since leaving Aftermath, Jon Connor has been picking his spots for his return to the scene. Today, the Flint emcee drops a freestyle over Eminem and Logic’s “Homicide” and absolutely wrecks it.

“I gained my fanbase from feeding the streets with content that showcased my lyrical ability,” Connor said. “What captivated them was how hard I was going. And I wanted fans to know that, after all these years and throughout my journey, I still give a fuck about MC-ing.”

And, guess what? He’s planning on dropping an album in 2020.

JON CONNOR FEAT. DR. DRE – I’M BACK

Jon Connor has been relatively silent for a good minute but returns with the aptly titled “I’m Back” complete with a Dr. Dre intro that announces that Connor’s full length album is titled Vehicle City and coming this year. As for the rhymes, Connor goes bananas over the instrumental to Remy Ma’s “Wake Me Up.”
