Chance the Rapper dropped a four pack of songs the other night but this is, by far, the standout of that group of songs. The title isn’t by coincidence, either. It samples the early 2000s standup by Jamie Foxx where he sings the four letter curse word. And there’s no sing songy Chance, it’s straight bars from the young Chicago rapper.
Consequence revisits Kanye West’s classic “Spaceship” with a little help from Chance The Rapper, GLC, Chuck Inglish and Alex Wiley.
“‘Spaceship’ on Kanye’s 1st LP, The College Dropout was and [still] is a Fan Favorite,” Cons told HHDX. “I thought that Alex Wiley, Chance The Rapper and Chuck Inglish did a great job capturing the vibe of the original record with their own version. Once GLC co-signed it, I thought it would be great to add a verse and put a modern twist on our classic.”
Chance The Rapper unleashes another song that didn’t make the final cut for his Coloring Book project. This one features Big Sean, Jeremih & Smino rocking over a flip of the “Living Single” sitcom.
Chance The Rapper drops the “No Problems” video off of his Coloring Book album. While the song features both Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, there are appearances from DJ Khaled, Young Thug, Boosie Badass and more.
Chance The Rapper appeared on the Zane Lowe show and talked about a bunch of stuff. But what is interesting is that Chance played the demo versions of “Famous” and “Waves,” which both ended up on Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo album. You’ll notice that Chance’s version of “Waves” includes a choir, which West removed for his album. Check both out and decided which versions are better.
