MURS & 9TH WONDER – GOD BLACK / BLACK GOD [VIDEO]

If you managed to miss out on The Iliad Is Dead & The Odyssey is Over, go back and find it. In the interim, Murs delivers the absolute goods alongside 9th Wonder from their Brighter Daze album with a video for “God Black / Black God.”

“This song is a few years old, but it’s always been the people’s choice from the Brighter Daze project,” Murs says. “And it’s perfect timing because I think the first verse of this song is really resonating with folks right about now; with all the losses and gains our community has experienced over the past few years.”

MURS & 9TH WONDER – NIGHT SHIFT [VIDEO]

Murs and 9th Wonder are preparing to drop their 6th studio album on July 19th titled The Iliad Is Dead & The Odyssey is Over. The duo premiered their latest set of visuals with Billboard titled “Night Shift” that blends concert footage with candid moments hanging with Murs.

“I didn’t take this lightly,” Murs told Billboard. “I sacrificed weeks away from my family, to write in seclusion and work with this team and hopefully make my best album to date. I am a true artist and my aim for the past two decades has been to master my craft. I am not an athlete. My age and longevity is not a limitation, it is a blessing. My focus isn’t what’s best for my brand — it’s what’s best for the music.”
