“It’s been a few years since I recorded a verse so I used a hand-held mic like I was doing a live show to get that energy up,” said Psych. “I know you can hear obvious audio differences in our verses but I like the grit.”

JERU THE DAMAJA FEAT. ILL BILL – MONOPOLY [VIDEO]

Jeru The Damaja had a project in the works that would bring together emcees and producers from the United States and Poland for a global experience. But, sadly, it would stall out. But the songs that were finished are getting released and with that comes “Monopoly” featuring Ill Bill and produced by OSTR.

Jeru The Damaja “Monopoly” is the second of three previously unreleased songs intended for a project entitled “Hip Hop Global” that would bring together legendary Emcees, and Producers from the United States, with legendary Emcees and Producers from Poland.

Unfortunately, that project would never see the light of day due to unforeseen circumstances. Many unique collaborations came from Jeru’s efforts to curate an experience that he felt would change the climate of global Hip Hop.
