2 Chainz continues to prove that he can hang with any rapper from any era as he rides shotgun with AZ on the Statik Selektah produced “Motorola Era.”
From AZ’s excellent Doe or Die 2 comes the video for the Pete Rock-produced “Check Me Out.” Hearing the ageless emcee drop bars over a Chocolate Boy Wonder production will never get old. The video is nothing more than two legends getting busy. And that’s good enough for us.
From AZ’s critically acclaimed Doe or Die 2 comes the video for “Blow That Shit” featuring Dave East. Nothing fancy here. Just two New York emcees kicking bars, blowing something and having some lovely ladies around.
AZ’s triumphant return to the game with Doe or Die 2 continues to pay off for the New York emcee. He continues to bang us over the head with visuals to keep the momentum going and enjoys the good life in his latest video “Just 4 You.”
It only took 25 years but AZ’s Doe or Die 2 is finally here. Was it worth the wait? You should probably listen for yourself but one of the standout tracks is “The Ritual” which finds AZ alongside Conway the Machine and Lil Wayne over production from Alchemist. Certified banger.
It’s great to hear a new song but it’s even better when you can see an OG like AZ in a video. With Doe Or Die 2 on the way, AZ and Jahiem team up for the visuals to the video “The Wheel.”
There is finally a date for AZ’s Doe or Die 2! September 10th is the day we’ll finally get a sequel to AZ’s debut album that dropped over a quarter-century ago. To set the stage for the album that features the likes of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Alchemist, Conway The Machine, Dave East, Pete Rock, Bink, Buckwild and others, AZ releases “The Wheel” featuring Jahiem.
After appearing alongside his cohorts from The Firm on Nas’ King’s Disease, AZ is back at it with a new single titled “Different.” Whether or not this will be on Doe or Die 2 is yet to be seen, but it’s always good to get some new music from the rapper who is three decades deep into the game.
