The Black Eyed Peas have gone back to their roots and are no longer the super pop act that they were once upon a time. With that comes their latest album Masters of the Sun Vol. 1 and their song featuring Nas “Back 2 Hip Hop.”

Previously known for their party anthems (and, before that, being a underground group from the West Coast), the Black Eyed Peas revisit their original roots with “Street Livin'” where the jazzy horns allow the trio — minus Fergie — to lament about the ills that minorities face in America today.
