We’re just a few days away from Meyhem Lauren and Daringer’s Black Vladimir project. We’ve already had “Red Pesto” but now we get some “Trigger Point Therapy” as Meyhem teams up with Westside Gunn.
Meyhem Lauren and Griselda’s very own Daringer will drop a collaborative album on August 26 titled Black Vladimir. It’s only right that the duo recruit Conway the Machine for the first single from the project “Red Pesto.” The production is filthy and the rhymes are just as nasty.
The Griselda Gang continue to smash the industry over the head with banger after banger. With Conway’s Look What I Became… dropping on September 13, The Machine enlists some verbal support from cohorts Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher on the Daringer produced “Tito’s Back.”
The man behind the beats over at Griselda teams up with Fat Beats and cooks up a Baker’s Dozen of production. Daringer’s 13 instrumentals vary from hard-hitting to smooth and jazzy.
“I’ve been developing the ear for composition since my born day,” Daringer says. “My father is a jazz pianist, I grew up everyday listening to hours of him practicing solo improv. That’s why my sequences are often unconventional.
I cooked this Baker’s Dozen as a token of appreciation to all the artists who have inquired for the opportunity to rap over my music.”
Benny The Butcher keeps things rolling from Tana Talk 3 and drops a video for “Scarface Vs. Sosa Pt. 2.” Benny rocks over the Daringer produced cut and reminds you that everything is like drug dealing.
August 10th marks the date that Termanology drops his Bad Decisions album. We got a taste with “Passport Kingz” last week and now drops a video for the Conway assisted, and Daringer produced, “Termanator & the Machine.”
Benny and 38 Spesh rumble all over this Daringer produced joint with “2 Weapons.”
On the latest episode of Rhythm Roulette, Daringer braves the bins at NYC’s Academy Records to blindly pull three records at random and test his production skills. Best known for his work with Buffalo MCs–and recent Shady Records signees–Westside Gunn and Conway, Griselda Records’ in-house producer didn’t flinch when faced with the folk and disco selects. Instead, he calmly sparked one and, with blunt in hand plus a special guest MC in the booth, cut another wavy gem.
It may be a year old but Conway’s “Cooked In Hell’s Kitchen” still knocks. And now we get a gritty set of visuals to coincide with the Daringer produced banger.
Westside Gunn goes off for 14 minutes on “Raw Is Flygod,” which is a nod to the WWE’s Monday Night Raw. Produced by Daringer and featuring his daughter WS Pootie, this is certainly an extensive listen that is nothing but that rawness.
