On July 26, the classic Eric B & Rakim album Follow the Leader will get a jazzy reimagination by Jonathan Hay for it’s 21st anniversary. Hay worked with musicians Benny Reid, Mani Ajami, Mike Smith, MIke Baker and Atlas Jenkins for this project and the first release from the project is “Lyrics of Fury.”
Jonathan Hay has been prepping us for The Hoodlum’s Ball for quite some time and drops off another joint with MC Eight and Ranna Royce titled “Toy.” Look for the album this March.
