Killer Mike connects with Robert Glasper and Eryn Allen Kane for a stripped down version of “Motherless” from Mike’s incredible Michael album. Glasper provides the keys with Kane’s sweet vocals being the backdrop for Mike to deliver his message about the passing of his mother and grandmother. It’s an incredible moment more than worth your time.
“Two years ago I was asked to get on a ‘Black Superhero’ by Robert Glasper- the song was incredible and he’d go on to win a Grammy for that album,” Mike said. “My only regret was that we weren’t in the same room together when we made it. So when talks of him remixing “MOTHERLESS” came up it was a no brainer only this time we wanted to be in studio together along with Eryn Allen Kane.
“Someone was smart enough to have cameras there capturing us making this tribute to my mother, Druzella Denise Clonts aka OG Mama Niecy and Rob’s mother, Kim Yvette Glasper. Performing this song is never easy- I wept every night on tour The outpouring of emotions has been part of healing. To all those who belong to Motherless club I pray this helps and to all those who are lucky enough to have their mothers- call them!”
Killer Mike grabs some of Atlanta’s finest present day and the living legends for the video to “Maynard Vignette.” J.I.D. and T.I. bring the past and the present of emceeing to the song while Jacquees blesses the hook with his smooth vocals.
Killer Mike’s recently released his autobiographical album Michael and is already getting rave reviews for the soul bearing album. But the song that is getting the most attention is “Scientists & Engineers” that features the always elusive Andre 3000 along with Future and Eryn Allen Kane. This is the 2023 Dungeon Family song.

It’s been two years since Big Boi and Sleepy Brown announced that The Big Sleepover would be coming soon. Soon has come and it still isn’t here. But it seems like it’s still on its way and the duo drop a new single titled “Lower Case (No Cap)” with Killer Mike riding shotgun and repping Atlanta.
The toys have gone wild! Killer Mike and El-P drop another video from their excellent RTJ4 album with “Walking In The Snow.” The duo show up as toys in a dystopian bedroom and aim to lead the revolution. Yeah, it’s wild.
Killer Mike and El-P connect with Royal Blood for a reimagination of “The Ground Below.” The added flavor gives it a genre-bending accent and is a welcome addition to the fantastic catalog of Run The Jewels.
