As we inch closer to the release of Smif-N-Wessun’s The All the dynamic duo drop “Ocean Drive” featuring Musiq Soulchild on the hook and a vicious rhyme from Rapsody. The All drops on February 22nd.
It’s been nearly two decades since the passing of Big Pun and the D.I.T.C. crew pay homage to the late rhymeslinger as Buckwild drops “Fire” featuring Remy Ma, Reef Hustle, Fat Joe and a verse from the late Christopher Rios.
You already know what time it is. KXNG Crooked is back at it with week #6 of Hip Hop Weekly and dishes off “Get It Off” as he flexes over a reinterpretation of Dr. Dre’s “Xxplosive” produced by Dizz.
Last year, Royce 5’9″ delivered an Album of the Year contender with Book of Ryan. To follow that, Royce delivers the exceptional “Field Negro” where he addresses America’s terrible history of slavery, the price of fame, Tory Lanez and so much more. It’s hard to deny Royce’s place as one of the finest lyricists of all time after another searing outing like this.
Two decades after Papoose dropped “Alphabetical Slaughter” comes a sequel of sorts with the DJ Premier produced “Numerical Slaughter.” The duo connects once again as Premier shouts out numbers and Pap connects them with verses.
“I initially released ‘Alphabetical Slaughter’ over twenty years ago and to this day fans still mention that track. From comments on Social Media to people just walking up to me on the street to tell me it’s their favorite hip-hop song,” Pap relayed to Complex. “Every other month I see another artist creating their own version of the concept. I figured since fans love the song so much, I would give them something similar on my Underrated project; but this time, flip the numbers. DJ Premier is one of my great friends and favorite producer of all time. I wouldn’t allow any other producer to assist me on this track.”
Underrated drops on February 15th.

The enigma known as Blu has connected with Oxnard’s Oh No for a new album titled A Long Ret Hot Los Angeles Summer Night, which is slated to drop on March 1st. Before the 17-track outing is released, Blu and Oh No cut loose “Lost Angels Anthem” to prepare us for what’s to come.
We still have no idea when Muddy Waters Too is arriving, but here’s some new Reggie Noble for your head top with “Trap House.”
Week #5 of KXNG Crooked’s Hip Hop Weekly series is upon us and the Cali emcee delivers a reinterpretation of Wu-Tang Clan’s “Triumph” with a West Coast swing.
