Smoke DZA announces his next album Not For Sale; which serves as the official follow-up to his critically acclaimed Pete Rock-produced album Don’t Smoke Rock. The album drops on 4/20 but DZA blesses us with the Joey Bada$$ assisted “The Mood” to give us a taste of what’s to come.
Tracklising and Credits For Smoke DZA’s Not For Sale:
The video for Jamo Gang’s “Highway” comes in the form of a sold out live performance at Arlene’s Grocery in NYC with the band Vertigo Drift providing the backing.
Evidence has dropped excellence with his Weather or Not album and blesses us with the video for “Powder Cocaine” featuring Slug with production from Alchemist. Hopefully this isn’t the first time you’ve heard this song. If it is, stop what you are doing and go listen to this album in its entirety.
GQ Nothin Pretty releases the video for “Everybody Knows” off of his recently released album Animation. Before we receive the second installment of Royce 5’9″ and DJ Premier’s PRhyme, the duo took to Instagram to drop off a track listing of the songs we’re going to hear on March 16th. If you were reserving judgment on the album, one look at this tracklist should make you reconsider as joints featuring Rapsody, 2 Chainz, Big K.R.I.T., Cee Lo Green and more make this worth your time.
Okay, let’s get this out of the way: Jean Grae and Quelle Chris are the weirdest f*cking couple in hip hop. That said, they still make dope music and drop the goofy video for “Gold Purple Orange.”
Lucky Seven employs the services of Conway to rock over his production on “Temple.”
