After sharing his “Too Lost” collaboration with DJ Premier, Bishop Nehru drops another cut from his Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts album dropping on May 8th with “EMPEROR.”
“‘EMPEROR’ was just a track that I was making specifically to have fun at lives shows,” Bishop said. “I wanted to be able to have an energetic song everyone could just feel free to. When I was in the process of creating it the main thing I was thinking about after I finished the beat was ‘Wow this could be amazing if performed in a stadium’.”
With Conway and Alchemists’ Lulu dropping on March 30, the emcee and producer tandem team up with TDE’s SchoolBoy Q for “Shoot Sideways” off the project. Although Q is only here for the hook, it’s a vicious slow burner that preps you for what’s to come.
After serving up “Yankee & The Brave,” El-P and Killer Mike keep things chugging along on the road to Run The Jewels 4 with “Ooh La La” featuring Greg Nice and DJ Premier.
“There’s not a lot of classic undermined golden age material that hasn’t been turned into a jam… and I’ve been plotting on this for probably the last three albums,” El-P told Apple Music about sampling Gang Starr’s “DWYCK” on the song. “We don’t intentionally do old school music… But our influences and who we are come from an era that is very real.”
R.A. The Rugged Man delivers a feel-good vibe alongside Slug and Eamon on “Golden Oldies.” The two emcees reminisce while Eamon provides the hook on this cut from All My Heroes Are Dead.
Joyner Lucas channels Will Smith’s acting career in the video for “Will” from his album ADHD dropping on March 27. It’s impressive to watch as Lucas glides through all of Smith’s most memorable roles from “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” to “Shark Tale.”

Boldy James and Alchemist release a new set of visuals for “Grey October,” featuring Evidence. This cut is from the duo’s The Price of Tea in China that dropped in February.
In this time of self-quarantine, people are finding ways to stay busy and entertain. The dynamic duo of El P and Killer Mike took to Instagram Live recently to ease the pain of being stuck at home by playing a song from the upcoming Run The Jewels 4 album. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t play clearly so the duo decided to drop the official audio for “Yankee and the Brave” for your listening pleasure. Enjoy.
Need something to watch while self-quarantined? Eminem sits down with Mike Tyson for a new episode of “Hotboxin’.” It’s a candid conversation as Eminem gets to meet one of his favorite fighters ever. It’s more than worth your time.
