Westside Gunn is preparing to hit us with the 7th installment of his Hitler Wears Hermes series on Halloween. And in preparation of that, he tags in his Griselda cohorts as Benny the Butcher and Conway go to work over an Alchemist and Daringer production on “Kool G.”
Smoke DZA, Pete Rock and Benny The Butcher just dropped the Statue of Limitations EP and the trio release the video for “7:30” that includes fellow Griselda member Westside Gunn.

Skyzoo and Pete Rock assemble a collection of the East Coast’s finest spitters for “Eastern Conference All Stars.” The song, taken from Skyzoo and Pete Rock’s forthcoming Retropolitan album that drops on September 20, finds all five emcees delivering bars over some Chocolate Boy Wonda production.

Westside Gunn, Conway and Benny put their verbal stylings over some head-snapping DJ Premier production on “Headlines,” which is released on Payday Records.
“I’ve wanted to do a record with them individually for a few years now,” DJ Premier says. “I had been listening to Westside Gunn first. Conway got my lyrical attention very heavy when Alchemist told me to listen to how he rhymes. Then after I got in tune with Benny’s songs, I immediately knew that in order to follow up the Casanova record it made sense to have all three on the same single. ‘Headlines’ was made organically from a blank canvas at my studio at 2am and it happened so fast; and I loved their work ethic.”
