REST IN POWER DJ KAY SLAY

The Hip Hop community lost a legend when DJ Kay Slay passed away after a f battle with COVID-19 at the age of 55. Born Keith Grayson and representing the East River Projects in Harlem, he rose to prominence as the gifted graffiti artist known as Dezzy Dez alongside THE FANTASTIC PARTNERS. After a stint in jail, Grayson added another element to his Hip Hop legacy as DJ Kay Slay with one of the strongest mixtape runs in the history of the culture. It pains the community that he’s no longer with us but he left so much behind as a true staple of the culture. Rest in power, legend. You’ll legacy will never die.
